Experience
Patrick is part of the Community Associations Group representing homeowners’ and condominium unit owners’ associations in Virginia. In this role, Patrick assists clients in interpreting and complying with their governing documents and applicable state and federal codes, in addition to representing associations in the collection of delinquent accounts and covenants enforcement actions.
Prior to joining Rees Broome, Patrick worked for another firm representing community associations throughout Northern Virginia. Patrick has experience advising clients on matters of covenants compliance, assessment collection, foreclosure, bankruptcy and drafting and implementation of policy resolutions. While attending law school by night, Patrick worked as a law clerk for a prominent real estate transactional firm in Northern Virginia and served as Executive Editor on the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law.
