Experience

Ruhi Mirza represents community association clients, including condominiums and homeowners associations located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Ruhi has assisted her community association clients by representing them in collections efforts against delinquent owners in multiple jurisdictions. She has coordinated, monitored, and prepared recommendations and documentation related to covenant enforcement actions. She has provided counsel regarding interpretations of legal documents, in accordance with applicable state, local and federal law, as well as, preparing and amending legal documents, including Articles of Incorporation, Declarations, Bylaws and Policy Resolutions. Ruhi has also assisted in preparing for and conducting membership and Board of Director meetings. She has provided valuable counsel for her clients by reviewing, negotiating and revising contracts, easement agreements and settlement agreements.
